In 2023, both Drs. Ilies and Norato became a part of the leadership team of the Digital Design Research, Analysis, and Manufacturing Center (D²REAM). Both professors provide leadership and guidance in taking the next steps to bring to the forefront innovative thinking and outside-the-box ideas. These ideas, innovation, research and collaboration are the key cornerstones of this research center.

The center will provide a diversity of ideas and collaboration with Drs. Ilies and Norato leading the center.
